Specialist dirt sourced from leftover material from the Rantoul Family Sports Complex build, selected to perform well indoors. Layout is a replica SX course with ten 20-ft lanes featuring a mix of tabletops/jumps, berms, and technical rhythm sections. No outdoor terrain, weather exposure, sand, mud, water, or natural elevation; surface is fully groomed and managed.

B-52 Hangar MX is a fully indoor, climate-controlled motocross facility built inside a former Chanute Air Force Base aircraft hangar (Hangar 3) at 909 Pacesetter Drive in Rantoul, IL, about 15 miles north of Champaign-Urbana. The hangar provides over 200,000 sq ft of covered space and a replica supercross-style track with ten 20-foot-wide lanes. Because it is indoor and climate-controlled, it is a year-round, all-weather destination and is especially busy through the Midwest winter, slowing in summer when riders return to outdoor home tracks. It hosts open practice, MX training days, racing, and signature races like the Pitbike Throwdown, and offers training following a structured curriculum (body position, braking, cornering, jumping).
