What to not expect

Our classes are designed to work. We know they work because we've taught thousands of riders how to get faster. If you are short sighted, please do not come to this class.

Are you a beginner?

This camp is perfect for you, because you'll be creating correct technical habits from the beginning. (A beginner is not a first time rider. A beginner should be able to navigate a track without assistance successfully.)

Are you a vet or intermediate rider?

This camp is perfect for you, because you'll be breaking bad habits, creating new ones, and get instant feedback to take your riding to the next level.

Are you an expert rider?

This camp Is perfect for you because you’ll create a better understanding of how the body and the bike work together as well as learn drill sequences that you can use forever to hone your technique into near perfection.

Our training methodology

Are you hitting a plateau in your riding, struggling with arm pump, or want to shave significant time off your laps? Discover a training methodology designed for riders serious about real, lasting improvement, not just quick fixes. (Some students have dropped up to 10 seconds off their lap time!)

Our approach is different. We move beyond the "old school" method of just pounding out laps. We build your technique from the ground up using our pro-level drill sequence, starting on flat ground.

Why flat ground? To build correct habits effectively, you need the easiest possible environment. When pressure hits (fight or flight mode), you default to habits. We instill the right habits first, then systematically apply them on the track through rotating drills and application motos, letting you truly feel what correct technique is like.

Imagine riding faster while feeling more comfortable and in control. Our students experience tangible results: significant lap time reductions, less fatigue and arm pump, or increased confidence at speed. This isn't about maybe getting faster; it's about building a solid, repeatable foundation that leads to sustainable progress and prepares you to challenge yourself effectively on the track and eventually in competition. This class specifically focuses on solidifying that technique and applying it on the track.

This class demands commitment. We are looking exclusively for open-minded riders dedicated to learning and applying our methodology. If you believe you're "too good" for foundational drills or aren't serious about refining your technique, this isn't the right fit.

Ready to invest in your technique and unlock your potential? If you're committed to the process and eager to improve the right way, sign up for our class today. We only want riders who are serious about learning and improving.

THE 2-SECOND GUARANTEE

Drop 2 seconds off your lap time at our Technique Tour clinic — or your next class is completely free. Anywhere in the country. No fine print. No hoops. Just results.

Here's how it works:

1

Time Your Warm-Up Lap

Before instruction, time a full lap. Use your phone, a lap timer app, or have someone trackside with a stopwatch.

2

Train With Us

Go through the full Technique Tour program — body mechanics, drills, track application, section work.

3

Time Your Best Lap

At any point during or after instruction, time your best full lap. Your fastest post-instruction time counts.

4

Didn't Drop 2 Seconds?

Submit your times within 7 days and get a code for your next Technique Tour clinic — anywhere in the country — for free.

Most riders drop 5–30 seconds in a single day. We set the bar at 2 because we want you to see it's not even close.

FAQs

Rain Policy for In-Person Motocross Camps

At The MX Factory, safety is paramount. Riding in the rain can be an exhilarating experience, but there are limits.

1. Riding Conditions:
We are committed to conducting camps unless rain makes conditions unsafe for riders. The decision to continue or halt the camp due to rain will be at the sole discretion of The MX Factory team.

2. 1-Day Camps:

  • Cancellation Prior to Start: In the event of rain, we will try to find a track within 90 minutes of the original track that is dry and able to operate. If we move tracks, we will not be offering refunds, so please be prepared in the event of rain to drive an additional 90 minutes. If weather forces us to cancel a camp before it begins, we will reschedule the camp to another available date. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, we will offer you a refund.
  • Interruption After Start: If rain interrupts a camp that's already started, we regret that refunds cannot be issued due to incurred operational costs.

3. 2-Day Camps:

  • Cancellation Prior to Start: In the event of rain, we will try to find a track within 90 minutes of the original track that is dry and able to operate. If we move tracks, we will not be offering refunds, so please be prepared in the event of rain to drive an additional 90 minutes.

If weather forces us to cancel a camp before it begins, we will reschedule the camp to another available date. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, we will offer you a refund.
  • Interruption After Start: If a 2-Day camp is already underway and gets disrupted by weather, no refunds can be provided.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Woods riders might honestly have MORE to gain from this class.

Because we take a technique first approach, we are able to cater to all skill levels and all riding styles.

If a minor will be receiving the lesson and the legal guardian will not be present, it is absolutely mandatory that this form is signed and notarized or else we will not coach the minor: Link here.

Lunch and water is the rider's responsibility.

We offer no refunds within 45 days of the camp. However, we can offer a camp credit to future training if you need to cancel within 30 days. If you do not show up to the class without letting us know 72 hours in advance, no refunds or credits can be provided.

No age limit or minimum. However, we ask that young riders be able to go through the track and ride without parent help. Ideally, they can pick up their own bikes if they fall.

Unfortunately, for any camps outside of our home base of Austin, Texas, we do not rent bikes. However, you can contact us and we can try to source you a bike from the local area.
