E-motos in the neighborhood are a fight that's already lost. Spoaks Moto Park is where they actually belong — private property, real dirt, full throttle legal. We'll teach your rider the technique that turns chaos into control.
The same body-mechanics curriculum we teach on dirt bikes, condensed and adapted to e-motos. 9 AM to 12 PM. Whatever level you walk in at, you'll leave smoother.
01.
Body position, throttle control, where to look. The mechanics that separate "kid on the street" from "rider in control."
02.
Corners, dirt traction, modulating throttle and brake on loose ground. Repping the right habits until they stick.
03.
Open track. Real laps. The corrections you learned hour one + two locked in at speed.
The base every skill builds on. Locked in by hour one.
Smooth on, smooth off. The single biggest gap between street and track riders.
How loose surfaces actually work. Inside foot, outside leg, eyes up.
Where most e-moto crashes happen. We'll fix the front-brake reflex.
Where to look and how far ahead. Cheap to learn, expensive to skip.
The drills you can run anywhere — open field, parking lot, real track.
Body mechanics translate. The same drills that turn raw amateurs into national-qualifier dirt bike racers turn raw e-moto riders into people who actually know what they're doing on dirt. This class isn't a separate curriculum — it's the same one, condensed.
Charles Sneed is the MX Factory's Learn-to-Ride coach. He's a certified MX Factory coach, trained directly by head coach Tre McCollough, and has personally coached over 250 riders through their first laps. He's the coach our parents specifically request — calm, patient, and very good at meeting new riders exactly where they are.
For a class where 80% of the work is body-mechanics fundamentals, Charles is the right call. He won't push your rider into anything they're not ready for. He'll just make them better than they were when they walked in.
The MX Factory's home base. Private dirt, beginner-friendly layout, full water, restrooms, shade. 35 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom airport. The exact opposite of a sidewalk.
Surron, Talaria, Stark, Onyx, and similar electric dirt-bike-style machines. Any e-bike capable of 30+ mph. If you can ride it on a track without falling apart, you're in. Email us if you're unsure about your specific bike.
Any. The class is built around fundamentals, so total beginners are welcome. Intermediate and advanced riders who've been street-riding will get the most out of the cornering and throttle-control sections.
We'll take riders age 8 and up. Anyone under 16 needs a parent or guardian on site. Bring your own bike sized appropriately for the rider.
Your bike, full gear (helmet, goggles, boots, gloves at minimum, chest protector and pants strongly recommended), water, and snacks. Bring a fully charged battery and a spare if you have one — we'll be riding a lot.
We coach in light rain. If conditions become unsafe, we'll reschedule for the next available Monday. Full credit applies, no refunds for weather.
Full refund up to 14 days before the class. After that, registration converts to a credit valid at any MX Factory class. See our refund policy for full terms.
Yes. All participants (or a parent/guardian for minors) must sign The MX Factory's liability waiver, assumption-of-risk agreement, and photo-release before riding. You'll receive the waiver by email after registration and we'll also have copies at check-in. Helmets are mandatory; chest protector, gloves, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots are strongly recommended. Riders without a signed waiver or required gear will not be permitted to participate, with no refund.
Motorsports are inherently dangerous. Operating an e-moto, e-bike, dirt bike, or any motorized vehicle on dirt involves risk of serious injury or death. Participants ride at their own risk. The MX Factory cannot and does not guarantee participant safety.
By registering and participating, you (or the parent/guardian of a minor participant) acknowledge and agree:
