Sweney Cycle Ranch
What riders say
Sweney Cycle Ranch (31250 County Road G, Brush, CO) is one of the most respected motocross facilities in the Rocky Mountain region, sitting on the high plains about 90 miles northeast of Denver. Its reputation is earned: riders point to a District 25 Track of the Year recognition won ten times over, a level of consistency that says everything about how well the place is built and maintained. The layout is expansive and well groomed, with a smooth surface and a wide variety of jumps that riders consistently praise.
The terrain is a standout. The dirt is roughly 80 percent sandy loam, and the main track follows the bed of an old dried-up creek, giving it natural flow and elevation that you do not get on a flat, manmade layout. That loamy soil grooms beautifully and rides soft, making for a fast, fun, confidence-building surface.
Sweney runs a full slate of activities across the season, from open practice to SRAC races, a Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier, and RMXA rounds, plus dedicated Pro, Vet, and 50 tracks so every rider has a place to ride. Friendly, family-run, and anchored in a tight-knit Colorado plains community, it has become a Front Range staple and a proven home for The MX Factory clinics.
