Motocross School. All Ages. All Skill Levels.

The MX Factory is bringing a one-day motocross school to ECDR MX in Black Eagle, MT on June 29, 2026. Coach Tre McCollough runs the class personally, working with every rider individually all day.

No matter your age or experience level, this class is built for you. We've coached riders from age 5 to 78 years old.

How the Day Works

The day starts with a rider's meeting on the stand. Coach Tre walks through the theory behind what you're about to work on and opens it up for questions.

From there, the class moves into training rotations. Each rotation starts with a flat ground drill where Tre isolates a specific technique: body position, throttle control, braking, corner entry. Once you've got the feel on flat ground, you take it straight to the track for a one to two lap moto where you apply that drill at speed. Then it's back to flat ground for the next drill. You'll go through six to eight of these rotations throughout the day.

This is where the real learning happens. The flat ground gives you the mechanics. The track exposes where those mechanics break down under real riding conditions. By the end of the rotations, you know exactly what your weaknesses are and what to work on after class.

The rest of the day is spent on jumping. Body position on the face. Air control. Landing technique. Every rider works at the level that matches their current ability.

Your Coach: Tre McCollough

Tre has coached over 1,500 riders with The MX Factory. He keeps the class capped at 20 riders so every person gets real, hands-on coaching all day. Not a lecture. Not a demo you watch from a distance. Tre is on the track with you.

What to not expect

Our classes are designed to work. We know they work because we've taught thousands of riders how to get faster. If you are short sighted, please do not come to this class.

Are you a beginner?

This camp is perfect for you, because you'll be creating correct technical habits from the beginning. (A beginner is not a first time rider. A beginner should be able to navigate a track without assistance successfully.)

Are you a vet or intermediate rider?

This camp is perfect for you, because you'll be breaking bad habits, creating new ones, and get instant feedback to take your riding to the next level.

Are you an expert rider?

This camp Is perfect for you because you’ll create a better understanding of how the body and the bike work together as well as learn drill sequences that you can use forever to hone your technique into near perfection.

Our training methodology

Are you hitting a plateau in your riding, struggling with arm pump, or want to shave significant time off your laps? Discover a training methodology designed for riders serious about real, lasting improvement, not just quick fixes. (Some students have dropped up to 10 seconds off their lap time!)

Our approach is different. We move beyond the "old school" method of just pounding out laps. We build your technique from the ground up using our pro-level drill sequence, starting on flat ground.

Why flat ground? To build correct habits effectively, you need the easiest possible environment. When pressure hits (fight or flight mode), you default to habits. We instill the right habits first, then systematically apply them on the track through rotating drills and application motos, letting you truly feel what correct technique is like.

Imagine riding faster while feeling more comfortable and in control. Our students experience tangible results: significant lap time reductions, less fatigue and arm pump, or increased confidence at speed. This isn't about maybe getting faster; it's about building a solid, repeatable foundation that leads to sustainable progress and prepares you to challenge yourself effectively on the track and eventually in competition. This class specifically focuses on solidifying that technique and applying it on the track.

This class demands commitment. We are looking exclusively for open-minded riders dedicated to learning and applying our methodology. If you believe you're "too good" for foundational drills or aren't serious about refining your technique, this isn't the right fit.

Ready to invest in your technique and unlock your potential? If you're committed to the process and eager to improve the right way, sign up for our class today. We only want riders who are serious about learning and improving.
